Youth Academy 2008
The South Bay Soccer Club is pleased to announce the formation of its Youth Soccer Academy. The SBSC Youth Academy is a unique soccer development program designed to provide youngsters ages 6-9 with an opportunity to improve fundamental soccer skills in a fun and safe environment. Our program is unique in a number of ways, a few of those include:
- Our staff. Each session is conducted by trained, nationally licensed coaches.
- Our curriculum. Our curriculum was created by nationally licensed coaches, educators, developmental experts and, most importantly, coaches who have their own children in the program. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and is implemented in a timely, efficient and fun manner.
- We educate the parents. After sessions we talk about what we did, why we did it, and provide ideas for parents to help their kids at home.
- We understand that kids really enjoy their AYSO teams but also may want to have additional training. Therefore, this training and instruction is meant to supplement, not replace the AYSO or other team participation.
